Our Goal is the Success of our Students! The Learning Lab is a one-stop resource to help you succeed academically.
The Learning Lab offers:
- Free in-person and online tutoring services for students
- Computer and printer access
- Information on academic success strategies
- TSI Test Prep Sessions

Face-to-Face Tutoring
Face to face tutoring is available in the following disciplines. An updated schedule

Online Tutoring
ACC offers online tutoring with ACC tutors during the Fall and Spring semesters on
Monday – Thursday 8 am to 7 pm (7 pm to 9 pm, by appointment only) and Friday from
10 am to 2 pm.
Online Tutoring appointment links are available on The POD
We also offer Pear Deck Tutor (formerly TutorMe), an online tutoring company available 24/7. Students can use Pear Deck Tutor for a variety of subjects. Access to Pear Deck Tutor is found on Blackboard.
TSI Test Prep Sessions
TSI Prep sessions are in-person ONLY in the Alvin Community College Library, Building
A, 2nd Floor.

- Only ONE workshop can be taken per day
- Students MUST register before 10 am on the day prior to the desired session
- Sessions may get cancelled due to a lack of enrollment
