The Mu Upsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Alvin Community College held its Spring induction ceremony on February 23.

The Alvin Community College Board of Regents approved fee adjustments for the 2024-25 school year during their meeting on February 22.

Alvin Community College Music instructor John Calderon got a chance to reach a wider audience to showcase how they can improve their skills strumming the guitar. aCalderon recently performed as the guitar clinician with the Lamar University Jazz Orchestra during the recent Texas Music Educators Association annual convention in San Antonio.

Alvin Community College was awarded a $250,000 grant that will provide equipment and updates to the Emergency Medical Technician program.
