ACC Regents Approve Two Degree Programs
The Alvin Community College Board of Regents approved the creation of two new Associate's Degree programs and certificate programs during their meeting on February 20.

Alvin Community College recently posted its final payment to pay off the 2005 bond. The $19.9 million bond was approved by voters in 2005 to construct the Science-Health Science Building on campus. Construction on the facility was completed in 2007.
ACC students, staff and regents met with lawmakers during Community College Day at the Capitol on February 3.
In recognition of his years of public service, the American Association of Community Colleges recently named Alvin Community College alum and U.S. Congressman Randy Weber as a national Outstanding Alumni.
Alvin Community College ranked second in the state with the highest number of graduates either finding employment or transferring to further their education after graduating.
