Trying to raise four sons on her own and dealing with the trauma of domestic violence, Alvin Community College student Lydia Rios sought a way to heal.

A classic tale of suspense, a ghosts of the Christmas season and the story of a composer seeking their big break make up the performances for the Alvin Community College Drama Department's 2022-23 season.

The Alvin Community College Foundation will dust off its cowboy and glitzy attire for the 23rd Annual Gala Boots and Bling on Friday, November 11.

A traveling Culinary Arts instructor, a news journalist, a photographer and independent media owner are among the guest speakers for this Fall's Library Speaker Series at the Alvin Community College Library.
