Alvin Community College will host Career Connection on February 18 to give young students an opportunity to learn about their career field and how to pursue their profession.

As the Texas Legislature convenes for the 88th session this week, lawmakers will consider a fundamental change to the way community colleges are funded in the state.

Alvin Community College received high marks in fiscal responsibility according to a recent audit delivered to the college board of regents meeting on January 12.
