Where Do ACC Drama Grads Go? Wherever They Want!
The faculty and staff of the Drama and Theatre department are committed to student success. Here are just a few examples of what former Drama program students have accomplished since they graduated from our program.
Katrina Mueller is a graduate of Vancouver Film School, one of the world’s top film schools, and is
currently a student of Southern New Hampshire University. She participated in the
ACC Summer Children’s Theatre Festival since she was six years old and graduated from
our program with an AA in Theatre.
Riley Sims works as a theatre technician the scene shop at Main Street Theatre in Houston. He
also acts at various theatres in the Houston area.
Abi Harris graduated from the University of Houston and worked in the Houston theatre industry
for several years. She now works as a scenic artist and props artisan in New York
City.
Weston Barnwell is attending Syracuse University, one of the top three drama programs in the country.
Natasha Braun currently attends the University of North Texas as a theatre major and is also earning
her teaching certification as a part of her degree plan.
Maddie Hendrix is a stage manager for Gravity Players, which is home to some of Houston’s most highly-reviewed
productions.
Kat Merriman is attending the University of Texas at Arlington, where she was recently recognized
for her skills in scene painting.
Dillon Dewitt is a Houston-area actor who graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree
in theatre performance and directing.
Charlotte Alcorn graduated from Northwestern State University and is a professional scenic charge
artist and intern coordinator at Florida Repertory Theatre, where she oversees two
other artists and approximately 30 interns in the theatre’s company.
Rachel Kalameja is a graduate of Northwestern State University and Columbia College Chicago. As part
of her MFA degree plan in European Devised Performance Practice, she spent time studying
in Berlin, Germany, where she now lives and works.
