ACC Students Named to All State Choir
Five Alvin Community College students were named to the Texas All-State Choir and will perform at the upcoming Texas Music Educators Association conference in San Antonio on February 9-12. ACC Choir members Andre Alberca, tenor, Pearland; Laura Rogers, alto, Santa Fe; Jason Rojas, baritone, Pearland; Graciela Sanchez, alto, Alvin; and Morgan White, soprano, Angleton were selected for the All State Choir.
ACC Hosts Curriculum Conference
ACC hosted the 6th annual Across the Curriculum Conference on February 18. Keynote speaker for the conference was Dr. Richard White.
ACC Graduate Finds Success in Process Technology
Taylor Swartz had a difficult time trying to decide on a career though she knew it would involve science. After considering Nursing and then possibly a Veterinarian Technician, Swartz settled instead on Process Technology at ACC.
ACC Students Named to All State Band
Two Alvin Community College students were recently named to the Texas Music Educators All State Band. Rally Colbert Ermenc, of Rosharon and Jake Wendorf, of Alvin were selected from among hundreds of other Texas community college students for the honor.
